Roger KennerI first rode my bike out along the Lakeshore in 1974, within a the first few weeks of my having bought it. Later in the same year, I explored the northern route. For a long period after that, then, my interests lay elsewhere. There were few visits by bike until the 1990s, at which point the West became a focal point for my riding. I have ridden westward along the Lakeshore almost annually, and the West Island has figured in many of my trips further afield. In my mind's eye, I can envision the road to Ste. Anne de Bellevue almost curve by curve.
