Roger Kenner taught both graduate and undergraduate level courses in Computer-Assisted Language Learning as part of teacher-preparation programmes, primarily at Concordia University. From 1991 to 1998, he was adjunct professor at the TESL Centre of Concordia University where, in addition to his normal teaching, he also oversaw a number of individual graduate student reading courses.

Roger Kenner taught computer programming in BASIC at Concordia University's Continuing Education Computer Institute. He taught courses at three levels: Introductory, intermediate and advanced. Indeed, his was the very first computer course given at Continuing Education, in 1982.

Roger Kenner taught ESL (English-as-a-second-language) at Collège Edouart-Montpetit in Longueuil. He taught at the beginning, intermediate and advanced levels. He has recently returned to teaching ESL.
